Piracy and other crimes - the shift inland

Jonathan Moss, of DWF, looks at the changing risks from piracy as we head into 2015

Piracy has existed for more than 2,000 years. In antiquity, sea robbers threatened ancient Greek trading routes and, later, Roman ships were attacked for their cargos of grain and olive oil. The word “Viking” translated from Old Norse means “pirate raid”.
