Florida explores options for jilted Sunshine State Insurance

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) is “exploring options” for a smooth transition for policyholders of locally
based property/casualty group Sunshine State Insurance following this week’s decision by United Insurance to pull out of a
deal to acquire the struggling company.
