Insurer AIG has filed a lawsuit against the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS) and superintendent Benjamin Lawsky,
alleging they have over-extended their regulatory reach with an investigation into the licensing of subsidiaries that sell
commercial cover to multinational companies.
