Seven dead in Genoa accident
Business has resumed at the port of Genoa, just days after a container ship crashed into the port’s control tower, killing
at least seven people with many more injured and two still unaccounted for. Inchcape Shipping Services has advised commercial
and passenger traffic has resumed at the Port of Genoa, Italy, following the tragic Jolly Nero accident on 7 May. Commercial
traffic resumed on the afternoon of 9 May as planned, with ferry and cruise traffic beforehand.
