Settlement: Four Fema firms agree to pay $5m for formaldehyde claims

US: Four firms affiliated to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) and contracted to install or maintain government-issued trailers for some of those left homeless in the wake of hurricane Katrina have agreed to pay $5m to settle claims the temporary accommodation gave off hazardous fumes.
