Over £1million in compensation for birth brain injury
A six year old girl who had been left severely brain damaged at birth has received a lump sum of just over £1 million in compensation. She was effectively stillborn following delays in her delivery. She was able to be resuscitated but she had been starved of oxygen for a considerable period of time and as a result suffered severe brain damage and kidney failure.
