Compensation for motorbike accidents
A motorcyclist who suffered severe injuries after colliding with a car has received an out of court settlement of £158,035. He was overtaking a slow moving line of traffic and as he approached a left-hand junction, a car suddenly pulled out across his path and he collided with the vehicle. He suffered severe life-threatening injuries including a collapsed lung and fractures to his skull, spine and pelvis. He also suffered fractures to his cheek, collar-bone, ribs and wrist as well as a broken jaw. He had a total hip replacement and suffers permanent head injury symptoms including an impaired memory and sense of smell as well as constant headaches and reduced powers of concentration.
