£9,000 in compensation for fall at work

A man who was injured after a fall at work has received £9,000 in compensation. The bricklayer was working on the upper floor of a property refurbishment. While he was working, part of the floor on which he was working collapsed. He fell through the hole in the floor and suffered various injuries, the most serious being a fractured back, from which he recovered.
