£7m for brain damage at birth
The family of a young boy who suffered severe brain damage as a result of hospital failures have received a settlement of
more than £7m. He has cerebral palsy as a result of mistakes made after his birth. The NHS Trust admitted liability for failings
in his care and the settlement includes both a lump sum of £3m, plus annual payments to pay for his care.
