Asbestos awards for brothers in Australia

Two brothers, living in Australia, who developed asbestos diseases after they worked together for several years in the shipbuilding industry in Belfast, have received damages. One of the brothers contracted lung cancer and the other developed asbestosis. Their lawyer used the “fast track” system in the High Courts; one claim was settled for £100,000 and the other for more than £40,000.
