£225,000 for leg and ankle injury

A man who broke his leg and injured his ankle has been awarded compensation of £225,000. The man was employed as a fencer when he was involved in an accident at work. His leg was run over by a crane and as a result he suffered a very serious fracture to his leg and degloving injuries to his ankle. The injuries he suffered were so serious he had to retire from his profession. His employer admitted liability.
