£1.3m food poisoning claim settled

A man who was left disable as a result of salmonella poisoning has been awarded £1.3m in compensation. He contracted salmonella from food consumed from a local takeaway. He became so ill as a result he was left permanently disabled and now requires assistance with everyday tasks.
