On 17 June the vessel was chartered for the carriage of a cargo of steel tank plate and cut steel scrap from the Bahamas to Vietnam. Following loading of the cargo the owners claimed a total of US$1,100,331.10 against the charterers in respect of unpaid freight, deadfreight and demurrage. The charterers acknowledged liability.
