DCLG report on the effectiveness of the reforms to the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 introduced in 2003

In 2003 the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 was amended in a number of major ways. The Government has kept the reforms under review to ensure their effectiveness. Responsibility for the reforms now rests with the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). It set up a panel of representatives from the Law Society, RICS, BPF, BRC, the Property Litigation Association and practitioners in the sector. A report has just been issued.
