In our July issue at (2006) 20 Commercial Leases 1136 we highlighted Tufano (Marc) v Vincenti (Gareth) [2006] EWHC 1496 (QB) on the issue of expert witness immunity. In that case the judge cited with approval the first instance decision in Meadow v General Medical Council [2006] EWHC 146 (Admin). We mentioned that Meadow had been referred to the Court of Appeal by the Attorney-General. The Court has now given its decision – Meadow v General Medical Council [2006] EWCA Civ 1390; [2006] 44 EG 196 (CS) (26 October 2006).
