PICC IS FIRST CHINESE ICISA MEMBER

INSURANCE giant PICC Insurance Company has become the first member of the International Credit Insurance and Surety Association (ICISA) in China. PICC believes the move illustrates that the group’s business development and professionalism have been approved by the international insurance sector, according to AM Best. It also reports that PICC established an electronic-commerce centre in Beijing at the end of last month including sales channels through the Internet, telephones and other outlets. According to the report PICC intends to develop and expand its sales networks through the centre.
