Single Equality Bill
The government announced in the Queen’s Speech on 3 December that a Single Equality Bill was being drafted which is expected
to be published in March or April. The bill will extend, simplify and harmonise the range of legislation that currently protects
people from discrimination based on disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation and age.
