FSA fines five PPI motor dealers

Five motor dealers, regulated to also sell insurance, have been fined a total of over £175,000 for breaches relating to the sale of Payment Protection Insurance (PPI). GK Group Ltd, George White Motors Ltd, Ringways Garages (Leeds) Ltd, Ringways Garages (Doncaster) Ltd and Park’s of Hamilton were found to have put 2,175 customers at risk after selling them unsuitable PPI products.
