Expert code of guidance

The draft Code of Guidance on expert evidence in the light of the CPR published three years ago has now been reviewed in the light of representations made by the Expert Witness Institute and a rival code produced by the Academy of Experts. The Master of the Rolls has allowed a short period for all parties to comment but intends to publish the final Code during this judicial term. The Master of the Rolls exhorted the two organisations not only to bury their differences over the proposed Code of Guidance, but to amalgamate.
