Benchmarks – the final proposals

The procedures

We summarised the conclusions of the Senior Costs Judge in his draft report on benchmark costs at 20/LL p38. His final report is now with the Master of the Rolls. The procedures for which benchmark figures are proposed are appended to the report and are the same as in the proposed list of 20 proceedings set out in 20/LL p39. Also appended are benchmark assumption diagrams for Central London, Lewes, Birmingham Inner, Bristol, Cardiff Inner, Manchester Central and Newcastle City Centre.
