CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS EYE GROWTH IN INDIA MARKET
India’s Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) is eying opportunities in the country’s insurance sector and has established a committee to oversee its plans. According to ICAI central council member G Ramaswamy, the new committee aims to identify the emerging opportunities for chartered accountants stemming from the growing insurance market in India. At the same time it will look at the training needs and opportunities for ICAI members keen to expand in the insurance and pensions sectors.
