BROKER GETS GO-AHEAD FROM INDIAN AUTHORITIES

India’s insurance authorities have given their approval in principle for Indian Infoline Group to begin conducting insurance broking business. Thanks to the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) go ahead the group’s India Infoline Insurance Brokers will be able to offer customers a broad range of products from multiple life as well as non-life Insurance companies. Already the group’s India Infoline Insurance Services working as a corporate agent for the private sector life insurer ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, it added. India Infoline chairman Nirmal Jain said: “Our life insurance distribution business has witnessed high growth rates, and has been built on strong foundations of customer service, training our sales force and our investment advisory capabilities.”
