IGS debate precludes consultation
The European Commission’s hearing on insurance guarantee schemes hosted a range of views that are likely to characterise its current consultation, which closes to responses on 7 July 2008. In a panel discussion on whether to retain the status quo, with a patchwork of insurance guarantee schemes across Europe, or introduce an EU-wide approach, many were in favour of change.
