Bandar Abbas not “usual waiting place” for notice of readiness purposes where discharge port 400 miles away

Under a charterparty dated July 1981 the vessel loaded a cargo at a European port for discharge at Iran. Two ports of discharge were named in the charterparty, one of which was to be declared when the vessel passed Suez. The ports were Bandar Abbas and Bandar Bushehr (“Bushire”). The nomination given to the Master when the vessel passed Suez was for Bushire.
