Voyage charterparty - Measure of damages where substitute charterparty fixed after charterers’ repudiation

Owners chartered their vessel Concordia C to Rheinoel under a voyage charter. After the vessel arrived at the load port the cargo could not be supplied. The charterers claimed the charter was frustrated. The owners refused to accept that. They treated the charterers’ conduct as a repudiation of the contract, which they accepted. The owners then entered into an alternative charterparty with Marathon involving different loading and discharge ports.
