Workers face “cocktail” of serious health hazards from climate change

Climate change is creating a “cocktail” of serious health hazards for 70 per cent of the world’s workers, says the International Labour Organization (ILO). In a new report, “Ensuring safety and health at work in a changing climate”, the ILO said the health consequences of climate change can include cancer, cardiovascular disease, respiratory illnesses, kidney dysfunction and mental health conditions.
